Gerald Davies appointed as Fifth Quarter Business Manager, Silver Fern Farms.  

Hunter Campbell would like to congratulate Gerald Davies on his appointment as Fifth Quarter Business Manager for Silver Fern Farms.

Founded in 1948, Silver Fern Farms is New Zealand’s leading procurer, processor, marketer and exporter of premium quality lamb, beef and venison. Exporting to 60 countries, Silver Fern Farms is a regionally significant business with annual revenue in excess of $2bn, 7,000 employees, seven offshore offices and 14 processing sites in New Zealand.

As the Fifth Quarter Business Manager, Gerald will support the creation of long-term value by focusing on maximising opportunities from existing Fifth Quarter business. Through organisation-wide coordination and influence, Gerald will help build more valuable products and supply chains based on end-customer requirements, strategic relationships, and an understanding of the key attributes of the value chain.

Gerald’s unique experience starting out his career as a Butcher and Chef, combined with his recent experience skill set in successfully launching and establishing a start-up business and General Management within Primary Industries means his is a unique and perfectly-suited candidate for the Silver Fern Farms role.
