Last night the annual INFINZ Awards for 2021 were held at Shed 10, Queens Warf in Auckland. The INFINZ Awards recognise innovation and excellence in New Zealand’s financial and capital markets and they are the leading financial industry awards across New Zealand’s calendar year.
Hunter Campbell have been the proud sponsors of the Diversity and Inclusion award since it was first introduced in 2018. This year saw a change to the award criteria with the Diversity and Inclusion Award now an organisational, rather than an individual, award. The change has been made recognising that successfully addressing these issues requires a whole-of-organisation commitment.
Hunter Campbell Founding Partner Lee Marshall was at the event last night and had the privilege of presenting the award to the category winner. Congratulations to Westpac NZ: He Huarahi tū Ngātahi – Pathway to Inclusion, on their win. The Hunter Campbell Diversity and Inclusion award recognises Westpac New Zealand’s commitment to proactively cultivating their focus on encouraging and nurturing diversity.
Previous recipients of the Diversity and Inclusion Award are Barbara Chapman, Chairman and Independent Director; Michele Embling, former PwC Chair; and Anna Buchly, Bell Gully Chair. Westpac New Zealand joins a group who have all worked tirelessly to make a difference.
