The opportunity
JBWere has expanded its client base and funds under management significantly over recent years, with a growing demand for their personalised services. Due to this continued growth, the position of Business Manager has been created in the Private Wealth Management (PWM) team. The wealth management sector is constantly evolving, with this new position tasked with ensuring the PWM team at JBWere is operating as effectively as possible, the client experience is constantly improved, new technologies are utilised as appropriate, and risk is managed in line with best practice.
  
Reporting to the Head of Advice, this position will be responsible for a range of deliverables as well as contributing and leading transformational projects, which will see you interacting with the whole of the organisation. Your key responsibilities include:
  

  • Research and support the development of strategic plans with respect to positioning, enablement, and business development
  • Collect insights from across the team to inform firm-wide transformational initiatives
  • Partner with Finance to design management reporting and provide key insights
  • Formulate and drive initiatives to support engagement, including Employee Surveys
  • Facilitate dissemination of information to Adviser Groups
  • Partner with SMEs to craft training materials relevant to PWM
  • Partner with Marketing to constantly enhance marketing collateral
  • Represent PWM in cross-functional working groups focused on delivering strategic initiatives
  • Ad hoc projects as required

As your mandate is varied, project based, and often division/business-wide, we require a proactive professional who is driven, motivated, and at your best in an environment where autonomy and responsibility is provided.
  
We’re seeking expressions of interest from professionals both within and outside of wealth management and the wider financial services community. You may have developed your career in an advisory company, professional services firm or corporate entity, or another wealth management organisation.

With a client-centric mindset, you will understand the importance of the client, with experience enhancing how clients and service providers interact at all levels. As technology continues to evolve, you will be directly influence how technology is utilised to improve day to day operational efficiencies. Therefore, a strong innovative mindset is required, covering technology, systems, processes and the effective capture and utilisation of data.
  
Your ability to communicate to a broad base of stakeholders is paramount, as is your capacity to build constructive relationships and influence.
