The Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary senior finance leader to join the executive leadership team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and ensuring the effective integration of information and communication technology (ICT) across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, optimising performance, and leading technological advancements that align with its growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance profitability and long-term sustainability
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Partner with the executive team members and CEO to achieve the company’s vision and purpose
- Provide leadership and direction on strategic and commercial projects
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
- Drive continuous improvement in financial and ICT processes, systems, and controls
- Lead and mentor a high-performing finance and ICT team
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, ideally with a strong background in both finance and ICT
- CA, CPA or equivalent qualification
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with international operations
- Extensive experience in the FMCG industry would be advantageous
- Strong business acumen with the ability to influence and drive strategic decisions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
