Commercial Business Partner

The Company
This operation is a large business unit within one of biggest companies listed on the NZX. They’re a trusted and market leading organisation with operations across the whole of New Zealand. 

The Role
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, the key areas of focus include providing the business with analysis and reporting to enable performance to be measured, monitored and used as a basis for decision making.  This involves the coordination, consolidation and finalisation of information from both the Sales/Distribution and Manufacturing components of the business.

You will also provide commercial support, insight and advice to functional and site managers to improve business performance. To manage the completion of budgets and forecasts and the finalisation of the consolidated budget and forecast packs.

Other key duties will include the following;

• Ad-hoc commercial analysis, business partnering and decision support
• Continuous improvement project work across process, systems, revenue generation etc
• Manage the preparation of major CAPEX requests
• Support the Commercial Manager with strategic decision making and execution of projects

To be considered for this position, you must be a fully qualified accountant who has ideally spent some time in a large complex business, within a commercially focused role.

You must have strong analytical skills, be a fantastic communicator – particularly with non-finance stakeholders and have a curious mindset. 

This role is to be considered as the Commercial Managers 2IC, so we’re looking for someone who is ambitious and keen to progress their career within this amazing business.
