A newly created role, reporting into a seriously impressive and progressive General Manager, with a key focus on all things commercial. You will lead the commercial preparation of budgets and forecasts, financial performance reviews, monthly business reporting, capital expenditure and net working capital, as well as being heavily involved in strategic decision making to ensure this business exceeds its targets and goals.
With the role being newly created its key tasks and responsibilities will evolve with time, however, initially some of the core duties will include;
- Support the GM & management team with key strategic initiatives
- Design & execute on key financial performance metrics for the business
- Build & deliver budgets & forecasts
- Provide commercial analysis, commentary & advice for all proposals & contracts
To be considered for this role you MUST be a fully qualified accountant. Ideally, you will have come from an impressive technical grounding before moving into a much more commercially focused career path. You will be comfortable in large business environments without too much structure around processes and practices.
To succeed in this role you will be commercially & business savvy in everything that you do & in every way you approach tasks & problems. You must be a self-starter who is curious in their approach & comfortable at taking a leadership position within a business. Not only will you be able to provide a business with the relevant information you must also possess the confidence to communicate with, present to & influence senior stakeholders empowering them to make the right decisions for the business. You must be comfortable with & have the ability to operate at a senior, strategic level as well as being highly analytical & in the detail.
