The Role:
Our client, a leading ingredients focused business is looking for a commercially driven Commercial Product Manager to join their team. This role is crucial in managing supplier relationships, setting product strategies, executing pricing, and supporting commercial operations across a diverse supplier network. The ideal candidate will excel in behind-the-scenes operations, working with a broad range of suppliers, both locally across ANZ and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers.
- Develop and implement product strategies, oversee reporting and stock levels, and collaborate with the commercial team to achieve business goals.
- Execute pricing strategies and lead negotiations to optimise commercial outcomes.
- Lead RFP processes to identify new suppliers and fill market gaps.
- Use spreadsheets and forecasting tools to track performance and support decision-making.
- Work effectively with internal teams to drive overall business success.
Key Experience:
- Proven experience in a Food & Nutrition or related industry, with a strong understanding of the supplier and ingredients market landscape.
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial results through strategic supplier management.
- Strong negotiation skills, with experience managing complex supplier relationships.
- Highly structured and organised, with excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work well within a team environment.
