About the company:
Our client is a New Zealand owned organisation that is changing the face of the country’s logistics network through a dynamic and data-driven approach to optimisation.
About the role:
The purpose of this initial 12 month FTC role is to ensure data quality and drive improvements in the maintenance of the data sets. As part of the Data Operations Team, you will seek to identify where errors are coming from and make recommendations for improvement to rectify. You will be good at looking at the bigger picture and recognising how data issues can impact the wider business.
Data lifecycle knowledge is crucial to the role as you will act with intent to improve and not accept today’s constraints as a barrier to change – from data generation, capture, storage, use, and removal
With a background in data science/a data field, you will have the capability and competence in looking up numbers and the impact these can have on bigger things. You will have strong competence in Excel (Macro level) and be confident with basic SQL. It would be favourable if you have had exposure to python and a background in shipping would be advantageous.
What’s in it for you?
This is a superb opportunity to work in a dynamic team. It is a fast-paced environment therefore it is essential that you can adapt and thrive in an environment with changing priorities. The culture is one of collaboration and the open planned offices reflect this.
You will benefit from ongoing training and will be presented with opportunities to progress your career within a forward-thinking, innovative and growing logistics solutions business.
Enjoy subsidised health and life insurance, the option to work from home one and sometimes two days a week, flexible hours, social club events and professional development opportunities.
