The Opportunity
Reporting to a senior leader within the business, this newly evolved position of Demand Planning Manager sits at the heart of an integrated sales and supply chain function. You’ll be responsible for delivering best-practice demand planning frameworks and leading the end-to-end S&OP cycle across the business.
You’ll lead a team of five across demand planning and play a key role in strategic initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy, inventory efficiency, and service levels. This includes optisiming and transforming the demand planning function and supporting the integration of future-facing planning systems and processes into the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leadership and coaching of a high-performing team of five across demand and supply planning
- Drive continuous improvement across the S&OP process, collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain
- Lead demand planning strategy and ensure robust forecasting processes are embedded
- Oversee planning for critical cycles
- Champion key projects to improve supply chain visibility, systems, and analytics
- Support the development of an enterprise-wide risk management framework
- Ensure the integration of new planning systems aligns with strategic business priorities
- Build strong internal stakeholder relationships and influence at a senior level
