The Role
As Director of Finance, you will be responsible for supporting the CFO in effectively managing the overall business’s financial performance and supporting Department Heads in effectively managing their respective business units.
As a finance team leader, you will support the CFO with strategic initiatives and act as a trusted adviser to the senior management team.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Overseeing all group and business unit reporting and forecasting on a monthly basis
- Maintain cash flow and balance sheet forecasts for the group
- Oversee and manage product demand forecasts, transfer pricing and revenue forecasts for US-based marketing & distribution partner
- Identify and implement (in collaboration with IT) process improvements to the Company’s ERP system to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of capturing financial information and financial reporting
- Oversee the preparation of all financial statements, including managing the annual audit and half year review
- Manage and monitor compliance with the treasury policy and ensure all cash flow and working capital is monitored and maintained
- Manage the finance function but provide inspirational and consistent leadership
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, quality & regulatory, research & development to provide financial insights and support decision-making
You will be CA / CPA (or equivalent) qualified with 10+ years of experience and be able to talk to your leadership and stakeholder management skills. You will have a strong understanding of IFRS, which, coupled with your strong business acumen, will position you as a strong influencer. You will have demonstrable experience working in a rapidly changing operating environment, and you will be happy rolling your sleeves up as you enthusiastically tackle complex issues.
