The Role
Reporting to the CFO, the Director of Global Commercial and Performance plays a key business advisory role across LMI — informing strategic decision-making, identifying and evaluating opportunities, and addressing associated risks.
You will lead the commercial, FP+A and pricing functions while embedding a disciplined, insight-driven performance culture across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the overall commercial strategy for LMI, including global pricing strategy
- Establish cohesive, aligned enterprise goals and drive the annual budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
- Deliver robust financial modelling and insights to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board to enable effective prioritisation and capital allocation
- Lead scenario analysis, investment appraisal and risk management frameworks
- Oversee commercial finance activity, including corporate finance initiatives and M+A
- Drive improved long-term outcomes through supplier and transaction negotiations
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing Commercial, FP+A and Pricing team that operates as a trusted internal advisor
Skills and Experience
You are a senior commercial finance leader with both strategic range and operational depth. You combine analytical rigour with executive presence and the ability to influence at the highest levels.
Technical and Professional Experience
- 5+ years in a senior management role
- 10+ years’ experience in financial and/or commercial roles
- Advanced financial modelling, valuation and analytical capability
- Strong corporate finance exposure; M+A experience advantageous
- Demonstrated experience leading capital planning, forecasting, budgeting and valuation processes
- Proven ability to evaluate pricing strategies and complex investment decisions
- MBA, CFA or CA qualification advantageous but not essential
Leadership and Personal Capability
- Excellent executive presence, communication and influencing skills — balanced with hands-on attention to detail
- Proven ability to translate complex financial and strategic concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Resilient, self-starting and action-oriented with strong tenacity
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train and coach finance professionals
