The company

Our client is a well-established New Zealand manufacturing and distribution business with a strong presence in the Bay of Plenty, supplying product across domestic and international markets. With ongoing growth and investment across their supply chain, they are now seeking a Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator to join the team and help support this critical operational function.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, variety and the chance to work within a collaborative and driven logistics team.

The opportunity

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this is a pivotal coordination role supporting daily warehousing and transport functions, and overall service delivery activity. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of orders from receipt through to dispatch, maintaining strong DIFOT performance and building strong relationships.

The role includes managing domestic transport bookings, liaising with 3PL providers, overseeing stock allocations, processing transfers, managing pallet movements, producing key reports, and generating regulatory documentation when required.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, teamwork, multitasking and playing a pivotal role in a fast-paced supply chain environment. A great opportunity for someone who has hands on dispatch experience and is keen to continue their career in the logistics field. 

What you will bring to the role

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a hands on logistics, transport, or warehouse role.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational capability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using ERP/WMS systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to ownership and accountability.
  • A safety-first attitude and willingness to support continuous improvement.
