An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Export Customer Service Representative to join their dynamic Auckland-based team. About the Role
As an Export Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch service and driving business growth. Your primary focus will be on customer service, with minimal operational tasks. Working alongside the Sales and Operations teams, you will manage a portfolio of export clients, engaging directly with them to understand their sea freight requirements and guiding them seamlessly through the export process.
You will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, providing timely updates on shipments, and resolving any issues efficiently and professionally. The position is based within the Export Customer Service team of 5-6.
About You
You will have at least 2 years of experience in international freight forwarding within New Zealand, with a strong understanding of sea freight export processes. A background in customer service is highly preferable. You will have a proven ability to manage a portfolio of customers, maintaining and growing strong relationships.
Being tech-savvy, particularly with MS Office and Excel, will be beneficial as some reporting tasks are part of the role. Strong time management skills, especially when working under tight deadlines, along with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, are a must. You will also bring creative problem-solving skills to the table, going beyond conventional methods to find effective solutions.
