External Reporting Manager

The Company
An iconic New Zealand owned financial services business going through a period of rapid growth. 

The Role 
Supporting the delivery of reporting and audit engagement including preparing accurate and compliant financial statements and annual reports in a timely manner. A key part of the role is producing the Group’s external financial reports including statutory accounts as well as providing technical analysis supporting compliance with IFRS requirements. 

Duties will include, but not be limited to: 

– Prepare and review financial statements 
– Prepare detailed analytics and commentary
– Ensure all external financial reporting requirements are met
– Co-lead the external audit 
– Support implementation of a new financial ERP system 

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and either be a Manager in Big 4 looking to make their first move to industry or be coming from a larger corporate working across Group reporting.

Foreign currency exposure is extremely desirable along with IFRS 9 experience.
