About the role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join a leading beverage manufacturer. Based in Auckland, this pivotal role focuses on leadership, coaching, and achieving sales excellence within the Auckland and Northland regions. Reporting to the National Field Sales Manager, you will inspire a team of Territory Managers to exceed customer expectations and deliver business objectives across grocery and retail accounts.
Key responsibilities:
- Translate business and channel strategies into actionable plans for your sales team.
- Provide clear objectives, priorities, and measurement for your team’s success.
- Develop and implement a regional culture plan, fostering growth and development.
- Support career progression through structured planning and coaching.
- Enhance customer satisfaction through effective activation of channel and brand plans.
- Build strong customer relationships, ensuring service levels and contractual obligations are met.
- Identify opportunities to grow market share and implement tailored plans for success.
- Manage expiring contracts and renegotiate within agreed financial parameters.
Key requirements:
- Proven success as a field sales professional in the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience directly managing, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Commercial acumen and an understanding of the hospitality and retail sectors.
- A full New Zealand driver’s license (mandatory).
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Commerce (preferred).
