Reporting to Managing Director and with a strong dotted line into Group CFO, you will become part of the company’s leadership team. Through effective management of the finance function you will deliver comprehensive management reporting, analysis and commercial advice that improves the financial performance of the business. You will lead a well-established finance team, and become a key figurehead in multiple business critical projects.
You will work to understand the complexity of the operation, key business drivers, industry dynamics and growth objectives and support the wider leadership with sound financial stewardship and strategic input.
You will be responsible for providing commercial analysis and challenge all areas of the business, partnering and influencing the wider operation to further develop data driven, commercial decision-making capabilities.
The role takes ownership for the annual budgeting process, quarterly reforecasts and monthly P&L, Balance sheet and cash flow forecasts. You will also develop and maintain financial and operational KPI’s, and lead ROI analysis on a range of exciting projects.

You will be tertiary qualified, CA qualified (or equivalent) with extensive Financial leadership experience in a manufacturing, design or construction environment. You will have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic business, have had exposure to strategic management whilst also be comfortable rolling your sleeves up.
With a Big 4/CA foundation, you will have experience in both Financial Accounting and Management Accounting before working your way up to financial or commercial management level. Advanced excel knowledge and ERP system implementation experience would be ideal, but paramount is your ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organisation.
