Whilst working closely with the CFO on the strategy of the business, the key focus of the role is to lead the team to get the most out of them. This will be done by challenging them daily and getting them to think outside of the box.
The team is high performing, with the financial control aspect playing a serious part in the day to day tasks, they are encouraged to deliver insights and be as value-add as possible.
The finance team is due to do an ERP system upgrade, whereby the Finance Manager will play an imperative role in this process and therefore some previous experience with a similar project would be advantageous.
Required Experience/Skill Set
To be considered for this opportunity you will be a fully qualified accountant who has experience in leading people and getting the best out of them. It will be extremely advantageous if you also have experience in managing and overseeing a payroll function.
You will have the ability to think on your feet and thrive in taking ownership and responsibility for the performance out output of the finance team.
