Following a successful IPO, this 12-month Financial Controller role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in embedding listed-company reporting, governance, and financial control frameworks across a complex, multi-entity group.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll take ownership of group financial integrity, external reporting, and compliance while driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and controls. This is a hands-on, technically focused role where you’ll bring structure and discipline to a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead group statutory and external financial reporting across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage consolidations, IFRS compliance, and listed-company disclosures
- Oversee audit and assurance processes, ensuring governance best practice
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting frameworks
- Support investor and board reporting cycles
- Drive process improvement and ERP/system enhancement initiatives
- Manage and mentor a capable finance team to deliver accurate, timely outcomes
- Partner with the CFO and senior leadership team to enable continued growth
Core Competencies & Experience:
- CA/CPA qualified, ideally with Big 4 or listed-company experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader within complex, multi-entity environments
- Strong technical understanding of IFRS, consolidations, and external reporting requirements
- Experience in or immediately following an IPO advantageous
- Systems-savvy with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
