This is a broad & varied role which has elements of routine tasks alongside a large proportion of ad-hoc & project focused reporting & analysis. Although working as part of a large finance team, this is a standalone role with good levels of responsibility, reporting into an impressive & knowledgeable financial controller. The core tasks for this position are as follows;
- Produce & present monthly, quarterly & annual reporting packs to the business
- Work closely with project managers to produce accurate & timely monthly reporting
- Constant analysis on the performance of projects
- Assist with the annual budgeting process
- Assist with the bi-annual forecasting
- Support the Financial Controller with technical accounting tasks
To be considered for this position you will be a fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA or equivalent) who is currently working for one of the large professional services firms within their audit/assurance division and looking to make your first move into industry.
If you have already made the move into industry, this would be suitable for someone who is a technically sound accountant who is looking for a more analytical & project focused role. You will ideally have been working in a large, complex business with operations globally.
