Group Reporting Manager

This is a rare opportunity to step into a broad, high-impact reporting role in a leading services based organisation for an initial 6 month period. 

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll take ownership of external financial reporting while also supporting treasury, tax, internal controls, and driving continuous process improvement.

The opportunity:

• Lead the month-end, year-end and group consolidation processes across a multi-entity environment.
• Manage external reporting processes ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Build strong working relationships with external auditors and coordinate audit processes.
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Review tax returns (GST, FBT, Income Tax) and support with tax queries.
• Support treasury processes including working capital and cash flow reporting.
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes and support continuous improvement across reporting and controls.
• Deliver ad hoc projects for the Group Financial Controller and CFO.

What you’ll bring:

• CAANZ or CPA qualified with 8+ years’ experience, ideally trained within Big 4.
• Strong financial reporting, external audit management, and group consolidation experience.
• Exposure to acquisition accounting, tax compliance, and multi-entity environments.
• Advanced Excel skills, ERP systems experience, and excellent attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
