The Role
As Head of Finance, you’ll provide strategic financial leadership and oversight across the organisation, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strong treasury management. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll deliver clear, data-driven insights that guide executive decision-making and uphold the organisation’s mission and values.
This is a hands-on and influential role, perfect for a finance professional who thrives in both strategic and operational leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert financial advice and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee all finance and treasury functions including cash flow, loan drawdowns, liquidity management, and investment strategy.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the Board, CEO, and regulatory bodies.
  • Review and manage pricing for loans and term deposits to align with organisational goals.
  • Build and enhance financial systems, dashboards, and controls to drive efficiency and performance.
  • Lead the external audit process and ensure accurate, timely reporting to stakeholders.
  • Support and provide cover for the CFO when required.

Your profile

  • 7+ years experience, either straight from public practice or in industry
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing Financial Statements.
  • Proven ability to present complex financial information to executives and Boards.
  • Background in banking, treasury, or financial services preferred but not essential.
  • Sound understanding of liquidity and market risk management.
  • A collaborative leadership style and a commitment to working within a values-based environment.
