The Opportunity – Head of M&A
Reporting through to the GM Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, this opportunity will see you supporting the business at both the group and divisional level with corporate finance expertise. Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading, supporting and advising on M&A activity and divestments.
  • Capital structure advice and strategic modelling.
  • Support on significant investment initiatives including business case development and financial model development and review.
  • Preparation of board level case studies and recommendations.
  • Ad hoc support to business unit leaders and group executives.
  • Project related and ad-hoc tasks.

Skill set and experience required to be successful
This highly influential position requires a seasoned corporate finance or investment banking professional, with proven transactions management experience. Operating in a senior team with high accountability, you will be comfortable on the tools and take confidence from ownership of aspects of financial modelling and analysis.
This role demands strong financial acumen, exceptional strategic insight, and the ability to communicate with clarity and conviction. You’ll be comfortable engaging in robust, constructive debate with senior stakeholders.
Experience working closely with executive teams will be essential to your success in this role.
