As Head of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), you will be at the forefront of optimising our end-to-end value chain, ensuring seamless integration across livestock, logistics, sales, and operations.

An opportunity has arisen for you to join the business in a pivotal role as Head of S&OP, which can be based either in Auckland or Dunedin.

This is a high-impact, strategic leadership role that is pivotal in driving transformational change as we evolve towards a fully integrated business planning (IBP) model. Your expertise in demand planning, production planning, analytics, supply optimisation, and cross-functional alignment will be critical in delivering efficiency, agility, and commercial success.
  
What You’ll Lead:

• Strategic Leadership – Shape and implement a best-in-class S&OP framework, driving collaboration across key business units.
• Optimisation of the Value Chain – Enhance end-to-end visibility, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.
• Integrated Business Planning (IBP) – Lead the shift from traditional S&OP to a more dynamic, integrated planning model.
• Stakeholder Engagement – Build strong relationships across Livestock, Logistics, Sales, and Operations to align commercial and operational priorities.
• Transformation & Change Management – Champion continuous improvement and transformation to enhance decision-making and operational resilience.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven leadership experience in S&OP/IBP within a complex, fast-moving industry (ideally food/FMCG or primary industry)
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering operational efficiencies and business growth.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across functions.
• A future-focused mindset, with experience in transformational change and process innovation.
• The ability to lead, motivate and develop a planning team through the essential BAU, optimisation and transformational elements of the S&OP function
