The purpose of the role is to build a best practice supply chain function. This will include assessing processes, planning, and efficiencies, and then enacting change to improve the end-to-end supply chain function for the business.
Yealands has an exciting growth roadmap, which will result in increasingly complex supply chain needs that will need proactive solutions to compete effectively on the global stage.
As well as leading the supply chain function you will also be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team working alongside the CEO and colleagues from sales, finance, marketing, sustainability, operations, and HR.
You will have the ability and drive to flourish at all levels, continuously raising the bar and driving improvements through systems, and process. This is a high-impact opportunity where you will be tasked with continuously driving improvements, to improve supply chain performance, customer delivery and ultimately building a high-performing and resilient supply chain to support the increasing complexity and high growth of the business.
You’ll love supply chain and problem-solving. You’ll relish a challenge and the need to improve efficiencies by rolling up your sleeves and being deeply engaged in all facets of the business. You’ll also be attracted to the opportunity of redesigning an enabled and effective supply chain, that will support growth strategies and help see Yealands continue to enhance its brand presence in both the export and domestic markets. You’ll be passionate about making things better for customers through the implementation of a best practice S&Op process and striving to build a best-in-class end-to-end supply chain.
Your demonstrable leadership experience, particularly in an area where you are accountable for end-to-end supply chain, coupled with experience delivering both operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives, will ensure your success in this role. Previous experience in Food, FMCG or Retail sectors is preferred.
