You will take on the role of Procurement Category Specialist which is a newly created role. The focus of the position will be to support the Procurement Manager in optimal performance of the procurement in delivering Best in Class products at services, at minimum cost to the business.
Reporting directly to the National Procurement Manager, you will take ownership of effective category management and strategic sourcing for key categories in facilities and engineering.
Managing relationships with suppliers and a number of key internal stakeholders, you will run a robust process from initial sourcing and selection through to preparing contracts, negotiating and ongoing supplier relationship management. The role offers a mix of operational and tactical responsibility.
