About the Role:
Auckland CBD-based, as the Integrated Supply Planning Manager/Vendor Managed Inventory Planning Manager, you will lead the end-to-end VMI function across major grocery retailers — FSNI, FSSI, and Woolworths.
You will be responsible for both the strategy and execution that ensures products are where they need to be, when they need to be there.
This is more than just a planning role — it’s a highly visible leadership position at the heart of a fast-paced, customer-centric supply chain. You will lead a team of four and work cross-functionally to deliver results that drive business performance and strengthen key retail partnerships.
What You Will Be Doing:
• Owning the VMI planning process for major retail accounts — FSNI, FSSI, and Woolworths
• Managing inventory to meet ambitious service, cost, and shelf-life targets
• Partnering with commercial and supply chain teams to deliver shared goals
• Leading seasonal, promotional, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Coaching, mentoring, and inspiring a capable team of planners
• Using analytics and insights to proactively improve planning and decision-making
What You Need to Be Successful in This Role:
- Leadership experience in a complex supply chain environment
- Hands-on experience in ISP or VMI planning — familiar with the intricacies of retail supply— you know how to navigate the challenges of retail supply
- Strong commercial acumen and end-to-end supply chain understanding
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to connect and influence people at all levels
- A strong level of capability with ERP systems, planning tools and data analysis
- A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field (e.g., NZPICS) would be a advantageous
