Interim CFO

The Company

Our client, a dynamic and influential entity in the APAC market, is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to take charge of the financial control function and spearhead commercial and strategic enhancements. This role is critical as the company continues its growth and transformation journey.

The Role

As Interim CFO, you will report directly to the New Zealand CEO and the Group CFO in Australia. Your role will involve a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on management. You will provide essential guidance and support to the finance team, ensuring operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the groups month-end financial process and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop, refine, and maintain robust cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.
• Supervise and consolidate group budgets and forecasts, focusing on the P&L and Balance Sheet to ensure comprehensive financial oversight.
• Collaborate with the executive team on strategic planning and decision-making, providing financial insights.
• Lead and drive change management initiatives within the finance function and across the business.

Your Profile

You bring a proven track record of successfully leading medium-sized teams with a hands-on, engaging approach. Your experience in dynamic, fast-paced environments complements your ability to maintain momentum and drive performance.

You excel in technical oversight and are adept at identifying and implementing improvements in business systems and processes. Immediate availability and a CA or CPA qualification are essential for this role.
