Join a great NZ business as Interim Financial Controller. With strong technical experience you will support the MD through a period of change & have the opportunity to build some robust processes.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the MD, you’ll take ownership of group financial integrity, external reporting, and compliance while driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and controls. This is a hands-on role where you’ll bring structure and discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage consolidations
- Oversee audit and assurance processes, ensuring governance best practice
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and reporting framework
- Drive process improvement
- Partner with the MD and senior leadership team to enable continued growth
Core Competencies & Experience:
- CA/CPA qualified desirable
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller
- Experience working in the rentals industry highly advantageous
- Systems-savvy with a focus on process improvement and efficiency
- Excellent communicator with the ability to influence across all levels of the business
This is a great role to step in, work with a great team and have security through to the end of Feb 2026.
**Please note this business is based in Kerikeri. Some travel will be required but flexible given it’s an interim position**
