- Immediate start
- Well-known Kiwi institution
- Initial 2 month contract
Part of a wider international FMCG group, this well-known Kiwi institution is a household known and is the business behind a number of much-loved New Zealand and international brands.
They run a multi-site operation and are highly regarded for their unerring commitment to the highest standards of product quality, customer service and customer delivery. Providing fresh food, the ability to operate accurately, and at pace, are essential and the hallmarks on which the company pride themselves on.
Due to the business currently experiencing exponential demand, there is an additional need for an immediately available inventory controller. Working from our clients head office, you will be working with 3 of their 3PLs to ensure that stock on hand, matches what is in the system. Variances will need to be investigated by you. In addition to this, you will be good with data/systems as some Master Data cleansing will be required as the business is preparing to move from their current ERP system to SAP. Building a bill of materials based on the demands coming through is also a key part of this role.
You will be well versed on Excel and have experience working on ERPs. Candidates who have worked on SAP will be looked at favourably.
What’s in it for you?
You will bring enthusiasm and energy and the ability to build and develop effective and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role is an initial 2-month contract but expected to extend, dependent on business requirements.
Experienced in inventory control, you will be comfortable dealing with high volume, analytical and problem-solving activities. With a good eye for detail, you will be solutions-focused and eager to learn and develop.
