A new and unique opportunity exists with a soon to be launched boutique Independent Asset Management (IAM) firm based in Auckland. The venture is backed by a seasoned financial professional with over 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management across the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe.

The team are committed to establishing this new venture with committed capital, office space, an extensive offshore network to leverage, and a highly lucrative incentive structure to reward performance.

This entity will target High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWIs), Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), and family offices, offering tailored advisory investment solutions across a comprehensive range of financial products. In addition, they plan to launch a technology-driven advisory platform for mass affluent investors.

We are seeking highly motivated and entrepreneurial Investment Advisers to join the founding team of a new Independent Asset Management (IAM) firm in Auckland. This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in launching an innovative and client focused wealth management platform with committed capital.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be among the first hires in a greenfield venture. This is an ideal role for an experienced, proven, and performance-driven advisor who wants to break free from the constraints of traditional institutions and help build a modern, boutique IAM offering.

Skillset and Experience to Be Successful
We are looking for an exceptional Investment Adviser who brings both credibility and ambition — someone who is ready to take the next step in their career who backs themselves to retain and grow their client book.
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• An established client book, with a proven ability to cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with HNW and UHNW clients.
• A strong understanding of global and local investment products and portfolio construction.
• A desire to operate with greater autonomy and ownership, with the ambition to help build a modern IAM platform from the ground up.
• Outstanding interpersonal and business development skills, with the ability to deliver tailored, high-touch advisory services.
• Relevant regulatory qualifications (such as a New Zealand Level 5 Certificate in Financial Services).
