An opportunity has come up for a passionate junior warehouse manager to lead their team with a key focus on leadership, process and continuous improvement.
About the opportunity:

Fancy a 4-day working week (Tuesday-Friday 10/4 shifts) running your own warehouse operation within a larger warehouse for a well known New Zealand brand?

An opportunity has become available for a junior warehouse manager to optimise existing processes and support the growth strategy of a relatively new initiative that is being embarked on.
The role requires a hands-on approach. First and foremost this is a people leadership role.
You will come with passion, excellent attention to detail, inwards/outwards, picking, stock taking experience, inventory management experience and come with a reputable track record in leading people.  
You will enjoy proactively working to problem solve, working with multiple stakeholders to collect/communicate information and you will have a continuous improvement mindset.

From managing the day-to-day operations of a teams in a fast-paced agile environment through to developing more effective and efficient ways to improve productivity. Your end goal is to ensure your customers receive their products to the highest quality standards and 100% pick accuracy to order.
A background in warehouse, distribution and assembly in an FMCG or food environment would be a key advantage.

The business is interested in heavily investing in its growing warehouse operation. There are plans to implement robotics to assist in day to day operations you will be able to partake in the commissioning of this as well as a WMS.
