Lead and drive effective day-to-day logistics management of two Auckland-based DC’s. In addition to leading day-to-day activities, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to driving and improving supply chain, logistics, processes, systems and procedures.
As the Logistics Manager, you will lead and engage the Distribution Centre Teams to deliver continued business performance, ensuring they establish and implement distribution and operational plans for the DC to meet current and future customer service requirements.
This will involve continuous improvement in cost efficiency/quality of service and promoting and improving a Continuous Improvement mindset across the NZ operation. You will be responsible for creating the strategic direction for the Warehouse and Distribution function and helping translate this into an operational plan.
You will lead and manage the Warehouse and Distribution teams on a day-to-day basis and develop and lead a health and safety culture through ensuring all reports adhere to all health and safety and legal obligations.
