About the company
Our client is a well-established kiwi company who have built an ongoing success story, out of their Christchurch based Global HQ. Sourcing local ingredients and manufacturing premium quality New Zealand product, distributing both locally and increasingly into overseas markets.
The opportunity
With this ongoing success and future ambition, we are now looking for a driven Logistics Manager to join the team and lead that function, reporting directly to senior supply chain leadership. This person will oversee both local 3PL and international exports, ensuring the efficient and timely movement of finished goods from production to market. With a high level of stakeholder engagement both internally and externally, this individual will play a pivotal part in this next phase of the company’s growth and success. Strong partnerships, cost optimisation and delivery performance will be at the core of this person’s responsibility, all while upholding the same care and quality that differentiates their products.
What you will bring to the role
You will bring sound knowledge of:
– Warehousing operations, inventory control and distribution processes
– 3PL management
– Thorough and technical understanding of export logistics
– Cost optimisation
– Leadership nous and relationship building qualities
– Excellent problem solving and communication skills
– An analytical and continuous improvement mindset
