The company

Our client is a leading global FMCG with extensive distribution, manufacturing and domestic supply chain operations in New Zealand and offshore. An opportunity has arisen for an additional member of the supply chain team as the business works through a number of changes.  
About the role:
This role will see you receiving and reviewing the forecast for raw materials e.g. packaging and ingredients. You will review these forecasts and then work with pre-established buyers to purchase goods in time for production. You will have an excellent set of communication skills as you liaise with suppliers on and offshore and internal stakeholders. It is essential that you understand how the decisions/outcomes derived from one function in the supply chain, can impact others. You will be a proactive problem-solver, challenge that status quo, use your initiative, make recommendations for solutions to problems encountered and work with a commercial lens.
About you:

-You will have a good understanding of the overall supply chain
-Have worked in purchasing
-Have experience working on a tier 1 or 2 ERP e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, JDE
-Have full New Zealand working rights
-Be an excellent communicator (written and verbal)
-Be resilient and willing to challenge the status quo
