About the role:
Reporting to the ANZ Sales Manager, this permanent role of National Account & Business Development Manager is based in the East Tamaki corporate head office and roastery. As part of the UCC Coffee team you will drive growth and develop strong partnerships with key B2B commercial, QSR, foodservice and vending customers, whilst protecting and growing profitability. In addition, your role will be to drive growth through new customer acquisition through creating an exceptional experience for prospective customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Support and grow existing accounts to further build their product offering
- Build relationships with key stakeholders that result in ability to influence
- Create and monitor Joint Business Plan targets with key customers
- Create excellence in communication between stakeholders in all departments at UCC and the customer
- Develop a deep understanding of the customer, their consumer and their goals in order to provide insights and innovation tailored to their needs
- Leverage market insights and category opportunities provided by others in the business, providing to customers with clear recommendations on path forward
Key attributes:
- 3-5 years’ experience in FMCG account management, ideally in the food & beverage category
- Commercial sales experience managing key accounts, tender processes, promotional planning
- Cross-functional stakeholder management and reporting exposure
- Experience selling retail and/or large wholesale customers
- Passion for coffee will be highly regarded; as will previous experience in the sector
