Key Responsibilities:
- Key liaison between the company and Foodstuffs NI and SI accounts, responsible for achieving commercial objectives
- Lead strategic planning and execution to maximise sales potential and optimise distribution channels
- Integral part of driving shelf management initiatives and executing promotional programs effectively
- Foster strong business relationships with Foodstuffs, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives
- Develop and execute sales forecasts and annual customer plans to achieve sales targets
- Lead negotiations and manage trading terms agreements to maximise profitability
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and administrative tasks are completed efficiently
- Manage third party distributor relationship for sales and merchandising, ensuring clear direction, while providing resources and information to assist sales performance in field. This will also oversee a Key Account Executive
- Make cross-functional impact through effectively business partnering with marketing, finance, supply chain and production teams
Key requirements
- At least 5 years’ experience in FMCG, specifically ‘Foodstuffs’ account management is crucial
- Commercial sales experience managing key accounts, promotional planning and proactive strategies
- Cross-functional stakeholder management and reporting exposure
- Passion for innovation and sustainability would be an advantage; as will previous experience in the sector
- Exceptional presentation skills and ability to build bespoke category stories
- Exposure and understanding of field sales management is beneficial to managing the 3rd party field team
