The Role
Our client is looking for a driven, relationship-focused National Business Manager to join their New Zealand team. This role is responsible for driving commercial objectives within the Pharmacy channel, working closely with key customers to develop and execute effective account management strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key pharmacy customers, ensuring a deep understanding of their business strategies and needs.
- Lead the development and execution of customer plans, aligning trading arrangements with mutual business objectives.
- Implement effective promotional strategies to maximise sales and brand presence, including range optimisation, pricing strategies, and shelf placement.
- Analyse channel, retailer, and competitor performance to provide insightful reporting and drive data-led decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of plans.
- Support forecasting and stock management to maintain optimal supply levels and resolve any issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all internal and customer policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
Key Experience
- Previous experience in FMCG customer or account management
- A Business degree or relevant qualification is desirable
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify growth opportunities and drive results
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
