National Home Delivery Operations Manager

Our client is one of the largest fully integrated logistics providers operating in New Zealand. Due to their global supply chain ties and local network, they are in a prime position to grow their market share as an end to end solution for both domestic and international clients.
Our client deals with a variety of commodities across all industries and has a close link across the Tasman that refers business through where possible. There is also a heavy focus on technology to help both internally and create more visibility for customers externally. This role will have a domestic logistics focus.
This newly created role will lead, and be the face of, the National Home Delivery Service offering. This person will have full end to-end ownership of the client experience, working with the branches / operations nationwide to keep growing the portfolio.
You will also be the go-to person for new any service offerings that are rolled out, Home Delivery process ownership/improvement, training, and continuous improvement. You will have one direct report, who has come from another business unit in the company, who will help with administration, business and client reporting.
This role has the potential to grow substantially as the home delivery option becomes the norm in certain industries who don’t feel the need to invest in brick and mortar.

Home delivery experience would be advantageous but not essential.
