About the role:
  
This opportunity requires a dynamic individual who possesses exceptional commercial acumen and can see the value hidden in the data. This key leadership role will be responsible for leading the national strategy team, so must be confident in mentoring and enabling a team of towards achieving company objectives and success in their regions. This team is an independent business function dedicated to leading the company in strategy delivery, performance management and growth.
  

• Equip the business with strategic insights and effective performance management tools (including performance analysis, dashboard development and reporting governance).
• Lead development and execution of key growth and profitability strategies
• Develop a market share model, develop the pricing function to support category strategies, and develop forecasting and sales analysis to support improved sales and supply decision making.
• Assist the executive team on key decision making to optimize sales revenue, customer segmentation and planning.

  
About you:

• Proven success and experience as a strategic planning leader in a commodity trading environment
• Bring the commercial horsepower! Seasoned expert at building pricing frameworks, turning that into insights and strategies and follow it up with performance management.
• Aptitude for process management and forecasting accuracy
• High degree of integrity and honesty in all dealings
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills
