A complex, multi-faceted organisation with H&S at the core of all project work. Project work with the organisation is diverse and can be seen happening across Facilities, Property, Corporate, Operations, Building/Construction.
CBD Location with good links to public transport.
About the role:
This role would see you working to support and advise on Occupational Health & Safety across a large corporate. Effective communication will be one of your strengths as regular communication with numerous internal and external stakeholders is pivotal to this role.
Broadly, the scope of your role will include, though not be limited to:
- Providing specialist advice and support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure Occupational Health & Safety risks are effectively managed within the organisation and projects
- Providing support to a range of H&S programs designed to reduce or prevent workplace injury
- Coordinating and actioning administration and compliance requirements e.g. Accident reporting and investigation, claims management, ACC compliance
- Reviewing incident and injury reports and working to develop occupational rehabilitation services where required
About you:
Coming from either an occupational nursing or H&S background, you will have proven knowledge of New Zealand Occupational Health & Safety legislation and knowledge of the ACC and Workplace Safety Management Practise (WSMP) standards. You will have proven experience in contributing to managing the resolution of Health & Safety issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications will see excelling in reporting.
