An impressive opportunity to join a high growth business with an incredibly passionate team who love what they do. The business operates within food service and are looking for an Operations Supervisor to lead their high performing afternoon shift team.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Operations you will have the responsibility for leading the afternoon shift team of 20 people which runs from 2pm to 10pm Monday to Friday. The teams responsibilities are to prepare food orders throughout the week through to packaging and each day of the week will vary so no day will ever be the same. It is an incredibly fast paced environment and you will need to think fast and stay on the pulse to ensure your team is meeting KPI’s and expectations. The key responsibilities of your role will be to:
- Production scheduling for weekly scheduling and production tasks
- Product quality control of both inwards ingredients and finished goods to meet company expectations
- Be a key communicator across your team and other teams across the business
- Manage and improve processes and systems to drive successful results
- Review and manage KPI performance metrics to improve team performance
- Work on a variety of business projects

You may come from a hospitality or food service background and have experience in understanding the complexities of food along with a passion for working with food.
You will be based at a city fringe location surrounded by food and have the opportunity to work closely with all aspects of the business (including three full-time chefs), have a hands-on approach and be keen to make your mark in the business.
