Description

The company
Endeavour Consumer Health is a leading New Zealand health and wellness company dedicated to making everyday better for consumers in NZ and across the globe. The business develops, markets, and distributes a range of high-quality health products, namely Red Seal toothpaste, vitamins, and supplements, alongside a collection of other brands.

Endeavour Consumer Health has built a strong reputation for innovation and quality, with products trusted by New Zealanders and exported to key international markets across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

The opportunity
This is a key leadership role with genuine breadth. As Planning & Purchasing Manager, you will own the end-to-end planning function across all markets, covering demand and supply planning, supplier management, and contracting.

You will lead the ANZ Demand and Supply Reviews within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, drive forecast accuracy, and maintain the inventory discipline required to support commercial considerations, including working capital and margin commitments. With four direct reports and deep cross-functional reach, this role sits at the centre of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop the Demand and Supply planning teams, building a culture of accuracy, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Own the monthly IBP Demand and Supply Reviews, delivering decision-ready insights, scenarios and recommended actions to leadership.
  • Develop accurate, unconstrained demand forecasts across all entities, brands, channels and markets, incorporating promotional plans, NPD and customer intelligence.
  • Manage replenishment strategies for finished goods across ANZ, spanning domestic manufacture, co-manufacture and imports, including high-level production planning for Red Seal Manufacturing.
  • Own inventory policy and planning parameters; monitor inventory health, including aged and slow-moving stock, forward cover, service levels, and working capital.
  • Build and manage senior supplier relationships, leading negotiations for new and renewed supply agreements to achieve commercially favourable outcomes.
  • Drive optimisation of planning systems, including ERP, forecasting tools and Board, implementing KPIs, dashboards and process improvements to lift planning maturity across ANZ.

About You
You bring considerable experience in demand and supply planning experience ideally in FMCG or manufacturing, with demonstrated leadership of multi-disciplinary planning teams.

You have strong working knowledge of forecasting and supply planning processes, hands-on IBP or S&OP experience, and solid proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced analytical tools.

Equally, you are a skilled communicator and collaborator who can balance strategic planning with operational realities, remain calm under pressure, and are a passionate and capable leader able to lead, coach and develop people effectively.

What’s in it for you:
This is a career-defining opportunity to join a business with market-leading brands, significant growth ambitions, and a strong culture built around innovation, teamwork and doing what’s right. You’ll have direct exposure to the SLT and the wider executive team, with genuine scope to shape commercial performance and future direction of the business.
