A global FMCG business that is always striving to be the best. You will join the team at a key stage and will have the opportunity to play an integral role in driving change and improvements in all aspects of procurement.
They are now seeking an experienced Procurement Excellence Specialist to join their talented and progressive Procurement Team on an initial four-month contract.
The Role – 4-month contract
As the Procurement Excellence Specialist, you will support the deployment of best-in-class procurement practices across the business reporting to the Procurement Manager.
You will be driving the definition and continuous improvement of Procurement methodologies and all related processes (e.g. Sourcing methodology, Supplier Relationship Management), support of Project Management Office activities, Procurement Pipeline Management, Governance & Reporting (incl. KPIs) at a functional level.
You will drive these elements according to the blueprint, strategy and development roadmap for the procurement operating model and the related process and systems landscape to support this in the most efficient and effective way.
What’s in it for you
You will have the ability to think strategically; facilitation, interpersonal and negotiation skills are required. You are process-oriented with the ability to support the Procurement Team in the delivery of its core capabilities.
You are tertiary-qualified and while not essential, CIPS certification is desirable. You are likely to have +4 years or of relevant Procurement experience with a strong focus on procurement source-to-contract and procure-to-pay end-to-end process and system enablement.
This is an opportunity to drive real change and improvement in the procurement and commercial operation of a significant FMCG business. There is also the potential opportunity to extend your contract.
