An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a well-established and highly successful food manufacturing business for 3-4 months, while the business appoints the permanent position.

Based at the head office and manufacturing site, you will take on an integral role in the supply chain team. Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the following:
- Supplier relationship management
- Category management – key focus on ingredients and packaging
- Procurement analysis
- Master data management

You will be experienced in purchasing and/or materials planning in a manufacturing environment. You will be working in a fast-paced and complex environment, so the ability to accurately, at speed is essential. Based near Oamaru, this opportunity will suit either local candidates or those looking to relocate. There is also the opportunity to be considered for the permanent role if this is something that may be of interest to you.
Salary is dependent on experience, though is expected to be in the region of $120000. You will also receive support, training and given the opportunity to take on new responsibilities to assist you in learning and growing your career.
