About the opportunity:

Our client is embarking on a large change in their existing procurement processes. They are working to transform their entire end-to-end procurement processes through digitalisation. This will change the way they procure products and services across Oceania to deliver substantial procurement savings and sustainable developmental improvement of functions, compliance, system processes and people capability.

About the role:

This role will see you being a key player in the procurement transformation team to drive continuous improvement. You will have a passion for technology and the advancements it can aid businesses with. A background in procurement and the processes involved in it is essential for the successful candidate. This knowledge is essential as although you won’t be practising procurement in the business and working with external stakeholders in and around sourcing, you will be working to develop a strategic framework and digitalised process that will be used. You will be confident in training and coaching as you work to develop category managers capability on the new framework and digitalised system.
 
A passion for sustainability would be advantageous as this procurement transformation team will be working closely with the sustainability team to develop strategies and policies in and around working more sustainably in the business.
 
Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports that track procurement performance/KPI’s is also a key part of this role.

About you:

  • You will have a minimum of 3-5 years procurement experience – strategic, not transactional purchasing based
  • You will be strong in using Excel for reporting purposes
  • Highly valuable if you have used SAP and procurement transformation tools effectively eg. Coupa, Ariba etc.
  • You will have an ambitious attitude and the desire to learn and grow within a new team driving exciting efficiencies
