An opportunity has arisen for you to join the business in a pivotal leadership role as the Production (Section) Manager – Afternoon Shift for the Takapau Site in Central Hawkes Bay.
The opportunity – Production Manager – Afternoon Shift
Your primary objective will be to lead the effective and efficient leadership and supervision of the personnel and operations of the Secondary Butchery processing operation at the Takapau Site.
Reporting to the Processing Manager, you will take on a key role on site covering production management, leadership and management, people, Health & Safety, quality and compliance responsibilities.
The company prides itself on its’ agility, long-term and sustainable business strategy and response to market demands and new technologies. You will own the management of key relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers such as MPI, external regulatory bodies, and visitors to the site (including customers).
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing key internal relationships with direct reports, site leadership team, site support functions, other Silver Fern sites and the central support functions
Your previous knowledge and experience in leading production operations and people leadership in an agri-business, primary industry or similar environment will ensure you deliver continuous and sustainable results to the business.
