A NZ-owned manufacturing business who are well-known and highly regarded in their market niche. A long-standing employee has moved onto pastures new and an opportunity has arisen for an experienced production planner to join the team.
You will join on an initial 3-month contract while the business recruits for the role on a permanent basis. There is the option for the contract to be potentially extended, or to be considered for the permanent position.
You will be working in an environment where multiple projects run concurrently through the manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for scheduling of work orders using an ERP, raising of purchase requisitions for material and special tooling, providing information on the status of the plan to integrated project team members and contacting suppliers and requesting updated delivery dates and reporting on supply issues.
