Our client is a large Australasian organisation in the manufacturing space. They are a leader in their industry and have pioneered sustainability since inception.
About the role:
The purpose of this role is to fulfil purchase order raising needs from a range of different departments. The purchase requests will be adhoc and you will engage with multiple stakeholders to best understand their requests.
There are several existing suppliers that the business uses however given there is an assortment of adhoc goods required to be purchased, you will have the opportunity to procure goods, yourself. You will be supported by the head of procurement to understand and use the business’s new sourcing strategy.

Due to this role requiring you to work closely with a number of stakeholders, this role will be based onsite. Flexible hours can be accommodated but this role does not offer work from home opportunity.
About you:
- You will enjoy proactively engaging with internal and external stakeholders. This role is not a desk-bound. You will be visiting stakeholders (e.g. NPD, production) in and around the manufacturing site.
- Experience in a manufacturing-based environment would be desirable
- Experience working in SAP is desirable but not essential
- Strong capability on Excel
