The company has continued to grow through acquisition and organic growth. In order to maintain their commitment to Best Practice, and to ensure they are well-positioned for future growth, the business is restructuring their supply chain team in order to improve their capability and operational performance.
The Opportunity (Initially for a 3 Month Contract)
The key objective of the role is to provide the best possible procurement and planning performance, at minimum cost to the business.
Specifically, you will take responsibility for the following:
- Supplier relationship management
- 3PL performance and relationship management
- Maintain data integrity and internal systems
- Identify areas for improvement and plan & execute delivery of improvements across people, systems, processes, procedures and technology
- Work across a variety of tasks across planning, purchasing along with procurement projects
