About the Company
We are excited to partner with a company that specializes in healthy home solutions, third-party logistics and vendor refill services.
To maximise their current warehouse space, they are seeking a Sales Development Representative on a fixed-term basis. This role will focus on generating new business leads and creating opportunities for potential 3PL partnerships, ultimately helping the company fill the remaining warehouse capacity.
About the role
As Sales Development Representative you will thrive in prospecting and lead generation, with a focus on scheduling meetings with potential 3PL customers. your proactive approach and strong communication skills will be essential in driving new business and assisting the GM and Warehouse Manager in securing new deals, ultimately aiming to maximise the utilisation of remaining warehouse space.
This is a 3-month fixed term contract with the aim to fill remaining warehouse space in that period of time. While a permanent position can’t be guaranteed, there is potential for the contract to be extended or to transition into a more permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Sales Development: Conduct cold and warm calls to potential 3PL customers to generate new business opportunities and schedule sales meetings for senior team members.
- Lead Generation: Leverage internal relationships to identify and generate leads for the business, contributing to the overall sales pipeline.
About you
- Resilience: Ability to overcome objections and setbacks with persistence and strong stamina.
- Sales Discipline & Skill: Highly proactive and organised, with the ability to maintain high levels of sales activity and a solid understanding of effective prospecting techniques.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a fantastic phone manner and the ability to articulate ideas clearly.
- Industry Experience: Previous experience in the 3PL sector, with a proven track record of generating leads and booking meetings
